Procedure: First, perform the Poorvangam Thereafter, follow the detailed worship procedure given below dhyānaṃ śuklāṃbaradharaṃ viṣṇuṃ śaśivarṇaṃ caturbhujam prasanna vadanaṃ dhyāyetsarva vighnopaśāṃtaye agajānana padmārkaṃ gajānanamaharniśaṃ anekadaṃtaṃ bhaktānāṃ ekadaṃtamupāsmahe oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ dhyāyāmi dhyānaṃ samarpayāmi 1 (Offer a few flowers and Akshata at the feet of the Lord) āvāhanaṃ oṃ ga̱ṇānā”o tvā ga̱ṇapa̍tigṃ havāmahe ka̱viṃ ka̍vī̱nāmu̍pa̱maśra̍vastamam jye̱ṣṭha̱rāja̱o brahma̍ṇāṃ brahmaṇaspata̱ ā na̍: śṛ̱ṇvannū̱tibhi̍ssīda̱ sāda̍nam asmin haridrābiṃbe śrī vighneśvaraṃ āvāhayāmi, sthāpayāmi, pūjayāmi 2 (Offer a few flowers and Akshata at the feet of the Lord) siṃhāsanaṃ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ navaratnakhacita divya hema siṃhāsanaṃ samarpayāmi 3 (With the belief that you are offering a throne to the Lord, place a few flowers and Akshata at the Lord's feet) pādyaṃ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ pādayoḥ pādyaṃ samarpayāmi 4 (With the belief that you are washing the Lord's feet, Show the water from the deity's Panchapatra to the Lord with the Udderani and leave the water in another vessel) arghyaṃ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ hastayoḥ arghyaṃ samarpayāmi 5 (With the belief that you are washing the Lord's hands, Show the water from the deity's Panchapatra to the Lord with the Udderani and leave the water in another vessel) ācamanīyaṃ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ mukhe ācamanīyaṃ samarpayāmi 6 (Show the water from the deity's Panchapatra to the Lord with the Udderani and leave the water in another vessel. Believe that the Lord has now washed his face and sipped the water) naivedyaṃ (While ringing the bell and chanting the mantra below, sprinkle water with a flower three times clockwise around the Naivedya) oṃ bhūrbhuva̱ssuva̍: tatsa̍vi̱turvare”ṇya̱o bhargo̍ de̱vasya̍ dhīmahi dhiyo̱ yo na̍: praco̱dayā”t prātaḥ kāle sa̱tyaṃ tva̱rtena̱ pari̍ṣiṃcāmi (Sprinkle water on the Naivedya with a flower) sāyaṃkāle ṛ̱taṃ tvā̍ sa̱tyena̱ pari̍ṣiṃcāmi (Sprinkle water on the Naivedya with a flower) amṛtamastu a̱mṛ̱to̱pa̱stara̍ṇamasi śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ ……………… samarpayāmi (Place that flower at the feet of the Lord) oṃ prā̱ṇāya̱ svāhā” (Show the Naivedya to the Lord with Udderani) oṃ a̱pā̱nāya̱ svāhā” (Show the Naivedya to the Lord with Udderani) oṃ vyā̱nāya̱ svāhā” (Show the Naivedya to the Lord with Udderani) oṃ u̱dā̱nāya̱ svāhā” (Show the Naivedya to the Lord with Udderani) oṃ sa̱mā̱nāya̱ svāhā” (Show the Naivedya to the Lord with Udderani) (While chanting the mantras below, sprinkle water on the deity five times with a flower) madhye madhye pānīyaṃ samarpayāmi a̱mṛ̱tā̱pi̱dhā̱nama̍si uttarāpośanaṃ samarpayāmi hastau prakṣāl̤ayāmi pādau prakṣāl̤ayāmi śuddhācamanīyaṃ samarpayāmi oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ naivedyaṃ samarpayāmi 14 tāṃbūlaṃ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ tāṃbūlaṃ samarpayāmi 15 (With the belief that you are offering Tambulam to the Lord, place a few flowers and Akshata at at the feet of the Lord) nīrājanaṃ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ nīrājanaṃ samarpayāmi 16 (While ringing the bell, perform camphor Aarati to the Lord) maṃtrapuṣpaṃ sumukhaścaikadaṃtaśca kapilo gajakarṇakaḥ laṃbodaraśca vikaṭo vighnarājo gaṇādhipaḥ dhūmaketurgaṇādhyakṣaḥ phālacaṃdro gajānanaḥ vakratuṃḍaśśūrpakarṇo heraṃbasskaṃdapūrvajaḥ ṣoḍaśaitāni nāmāni yaḥ paṭhecchṛṇuyādapi vidyāraṃbhe vivāhe ca praveśe nirgame tathā saṃgrāme sarvakāryeṣu vighnastasya na jāyate oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ suvarṇa maṃtrapuṣpaṃ samarpayāmi (Offer a few flowers and Akshata at the feet of the Lord) pradakṣiṇaṃ yānikāni ca pāpāni janmāṃtarakṛtāni ca tāni tāni praṇaśyaṃti pradakṣiṇa pade pade pāpo'haṃ pāpakarmā'haṃ pāpātmā pāpasaṃbhavaḥ trāhi māṃ kṛpayā deva śaraṇāgatavatsala anyadhā śaraṇaṃ nāsti tvameva śaraṇaṃ mama tasmātkāruṇya bhāvena rakṣa rakṣa gaṇādhipa oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ pradakṣiṇā namaskārān samarpayāmi (Take Akshata and a flower, perform three self-circumambulations, and then place them at the Lord's feet) oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ chatra cāmarādi samasta rājopacārān samarpayāmi (Offer a few flowers and Akshata at the feet of the Lord) kṣamāprārthana yasya smṛtyā ca nāmoktyā tapaḥ pūjā kriyādiṣu nyūnaṃ saṃpūrṇatāṃ yāti sadyo vaṃde gajānanaṃ maṃtrahīnaṃ kriyāhīnaṃ bhaktihīnaṃ gaṇādhipa yatpūjitaṃ mayādeva paripūrṇaṃ tadastu te oṃ vakratuṃḍa mahākāya sūrya koṭi samaprabha nirvighnaṃ kuru me deva sarva kāryeṣu sarvadā (Take a flower and Akshata, take a drop of water in the right hand, recite the above verse, and place them at the Lord's feet) anayā dhyāna āvāhanādi ṣoḍaśopacāra pūjayā bhagavān sarvātmakaḥ śrī vighneśvara suprīto suprasanno varado bhavaṃtu uttare śubhakarmaṇyavighnamastu iti bhavaṃto bruvaṃtu uttare śubhakarmaṇi avighnamastu tīrthaṃ akālamṛtyuharaṇaṃ sarvavyādhinivāraṇaṃ samastapāpakṣayakaraṃ śrī vighneśvara pādodakaṃ pāvanaṃ śubhaṃ śrī vighneśvara prasādaṃ śirasā gṛhṇāmi (Take water in the right hand, recite the above verse and drink the Teertham three times) udvāsanaṃ (Ganapati idol or photos do not require Udvasana, Udvasana should only be done for turmeric Ganapati) oṃ ya̱jñena̍ ya̱jñama̍yajanta de̱vāḥ tāni̱ dharmā̍ṇi pratha̱mānyā̍san te ha̱ nāka̍o mahi̱māna̍ssacante yatra̱ pūrve̍ sā̱dhyāssanti̍ de̱vāḥ oṃ śrī vighneśvarāya namaḥ yathāsthānaṃ udvāsayāmi śobhanārthe kṣemāya punarāgamanāya ca (Offer a few flowers and Akshata at the feet of the Lord, Move the turmeric Ganapati forward and backward) oṃ śāṃtiḥ śāṃtiḥ śāṃtiḥ
