About

Varahi Gupta Navaratri is observed in the month of Ashadha. Unlike the public celebrations of Sharad Navaratri, this 'Gupta' (hidden) Navaratri is focused on internal sadhana.

Significance:

It is dedicated to Goddess Varahi and other Mahavidyas. It is a powerful time for spiritual seekers to perform intense meditation and spiritual sadhana to gain spiritual strength and protection.

Rituals & Puja Vidhi:

1. Ghatasthapana: Performing the sacred installation of the Kalash in a quiet, dedicated space. 2. Sadhana: Engaging in focused stotra recitation and meditation on Goddess Varahi. 3. Fasting: Observing a partial fast and maintaining a discipline of silence (Mauna) if possible. 4. Offerings: Making subtle offerings of fruits and flowers during the twilight hours. Ghatasthapana is done once at the start of the nine nights: use the first-third-of-day or Abhijit window below when Shukla Pratipada is running, before the midpoint of the day, per common prayoga summaries. Confirm with your teacher or Panchang.
