Aswayuja Shukla Pratipada at sunrise; the beginning of the annual nine-day Brahmotsavam festival at Tirumala.

Significance:

This celestial festival celebrates the grace of Lord Venkateswara. It is a time of grand divine processions and spiritual rejuvenation for thousands of pilgrims who gather to witness the Lord's splendor.

Rituals & Puja Vidhi:

1. Dhwajarohanam: Hoisting the sacred Garuda flag to invite the gods to the festival. 2. Vahana Seva: Watching the Lord carried on various grand vehicles (vahanas) each day. 3. Recitation: Constant recitation of 'Govinda' and participating in the temple rituals.
