About

Sharda Puja is performed alongside Chopda Puja and Lakshmi Puja on the auspicious occasion of Diwali Amavasya. It is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati (Sharda).

Significance:

While Lakshmi brings wealth, Saraswati brings the wisdom and intelligence required to use that wealth righteously. Seeking her blessings ensures that a business is run with ethical practices, good judgment, and clear accounting.

Rituals & Puja Vidhi:

1. Invocation: Worshipping Goddess Saraswati by offering white flowers and sandalwood paste. 2. Book Worship: Placing pens, ink, and accounting tools in front of the Goddess. 3. Mantra Japa: Chanting the Saraswati Vandana and Gayatri Mantra. 4. Study: Students often keep their books near the altar to seek success in their studies.
