Observing this Pradosha Vrat is especially beneficial for wisdom and educational success.
Pradosha Vrat is observed during the twilight hours on the thirteenth day of both the lunar fortnights. It is a time dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
The word 'Pradosha' refers to the twilight period, which is considered highly auspicious for invoking Shiva's grace. It is believed that during this time, the Lord is in a joyous mood and readily grants the wishes of his devotees, removing their sins and obstacles.
1. Evening Puja: Performing special worship during the Pradosha Kaal (sunset period). 2. Abhishekam: Ritual bathing of the Shiva Linga with milk, honey, and water. 3. Recitation: Reciting the 'Maha Mrityunjaya Stotram' and 'Shiva Chalisa'. 4. Fasting: Observing a fast throughout the day and breaking it after the evening puja.
